    IT SAFETY & SECURITY FOR HR PROFESSIONALS

    This presentation will align with industry standards and effective practies to identify and mitigate risk as it applies to information technology.

    This presentation will help the HR professional create a sense or urgency, recognize relevant technology management and risk management terminologies and solutions, and recognize how to effectively & affordably mitigate information technology risks.

    Speakers: 

    Eric Robuck, CEO of The Valander Group.  Eric is a retired IT warrant officer and entrepreneur with 25 years of Information Technology experience.

    Dale Rothenberger with the Valander Group is a Risk Management Professional working in Sales and Business Development.

    MEETING DETAILS

    • 7:00-7:30am - check-in and networking

    • 7:30-8:00am - breakfast, general meeting 

    • 8:00-approx. 9:00am - presentation

    • Cost is $18 for members and $25 for guests.  Breakfast is included.

    • Check made payable to SHRM Berks Chapter is preferred but cash is also accepted.  Can pay at meeting.

    • Pre-registration of members and guests is required by emailing Wendy Button by February 6th.

    • Cancelations of registrations must be received by February 6th to avoid invoice for fee.

    • Members registering guests must be in attendance at meeting.

    • Photographs may be taken during this meeting for purpose of marketing the Berks County SHRM group, in print and digital media, including on its website.  By attending the meeting, you agree that your likeness may be used for this purpose.

    • Berkshire Country Club is business casual dress code.  No jeans or shorts, please.
