    Managing Multi-Generations

    Managing generational differences in the workplace can lead to challenges due to differing midsets, communication styles and career stages of workers.  Udnerstanding, addressing and taking advantage of the differences in values and expectations will increase team performance.  Discover engagement techniques for greater organizational success.

    Attendees of this presentation will increase your knowledge of and ability to:

    • identify the four generations in the workplace

    • describe the characteristics of the four generations in the workplace

    • examine the stereotypes associated with each generation

    • identify potential challenges when interacting with the different generations

    • demonstrate techniques that foster respectful communication and productivity with different generations.

    • 7:00-7:30am - check-in and networking

    • 7:30-8:00am - breakfast, general meeting 

    • 8:00-approx. 9:00am - presentation

    • Cost is $18 for members and $25 for guests.  Breakfast is included.

    • Check made payable to SHRM Berks Chapter is preferred but cash is also accepted.  Can pay at meeting.

    • Pre-registration of members and guests is required by emailing Wendy Button by March 5th.

    • Cancelations of registrations must be received by March 5th to avoid invoice for fee.

    • Members registering guests must be in attendance at meeting.

    • Photographs may be taken during this meeting for purpose of marketing the Berks County SHRM group, in print and digital media, including on its website.  By attending the meeting, you agree that your likeness may be used for this purpose.
    • Berkshire Country Club is business casual dress code.  No jeans or shorts, please.
