    Virtual Session via Zoom

Despite all of the security features, safeguards and honeypots cybersecurity experts can devise, the most concerning side of security is the human factor.  People are the number one threat to our security.  There are only two solutions to this problem.  The first is to eliminate the people…that seems drastic.  The second is to educate the people.  That is what this presentation is about.

There are three main topics this presentation will cover:  A deep dive into password management, a deep dive into phishing, and an overview of social engineering.  After listening to this presentation, you will be equipped to thrive in the current security environment.

Following this presentation, participants will be able to:

    • Understand how to manage passwords and security questions.

    • Understand what phishing is and how to combat it.

    • Understand what social engineering is and how to combat it.

Speaker:  Eric Robuck, President & CEO of The Valander Group

Cost for this session will be $10 for members and $15 for guests.  All money collected will be donated to Helping Harvest Food Bank here in Berks County.

Pre-registration is required by emailing Wendy Button no later than noon on Monday, August 10th.

This session has been submitted to HRCI and SHRM for re-certification credit and is pending approval.
