The Impact of Fraud on the HR Profession in 2017

Bob Long, Detective for Spring Township and a task force member of the FBI's Philadelphia Cyber Crime Unit will present.

International fraud continues to grow at an expotential rate.  The impact it has on the corporate world is expanding and diversifying as thieves, hackers, organized crime and cartels identify new areas to exploit and prosper from.  Updated statistics and examples from credited news sources, government studies and personal experiences will be shared.

The presentation will identify the types of fraud and identity theft, invesigations, prevention tips and recommendations.  Attendees will have a better understanding of concerns due to the complexitites and depth of fraud and IDT, the reasons the threat is constatly growing and evolving, and why it is almost impossible to completely limit your liabilities.  In addiiton, information will be given for common sense and strategic strategies to protect information and mitigate potential damages.
