Ripped from the Healines - What Employers Can Learn from the #MeToo and #TimesUp Movement

In the last few months, there has been an onslaught of harassment allegations reported against high-profile individuals in high-profile industries. This time, the public reaction, as evidenced by the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, seems appreciably different.

We know, however, that preventing harassment in the workplace should not be limited to what gets reported in the news. In fact, there are a number of important steps any employer should take to prevent harassment, address complaints and remedy inappropriate behavior.

This seminar will review areas where employers are particularly vulnerable to such claims, employer considerations in creating a culture of awareness and compliance that does not alienate employees and recommended steps to put in place and enforce an effective complaint procedure.
