    Making Cents of the Wage Payment Collection Law

    and PA Minimum Wage Act

    This program will cover the basics of the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment Collection Law in conjunction with their intersection with the Federal Labor Standards Act along with an update of recent case law affecting payment issues for Pennsylvania employees.

    After participating in this session, attendees will be able to :

    1: Distinguish between the requirements for wages for employees under both applicable Pennsylvania and federal law

    2: Understand the significant differences between exempt and non-exempt employees and the legal ramifications of salary threshold requirements

    3:  Learn about the recent enacted and proposed changes to minimum wage laws

    Speaker:  Susanna Foultz

    Susanna Fultz joined the law firm of Leisawitz Heller in 2018 and focuses her practice in the firm's Civil Litigation group with an emphasis on commercial litigation, employment law and personal injury cases.  She serves both businesses and individual clients.

    Susanna is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.

    This event will be held via Zoom.
