    ANNUAL LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

     

    During this session, Attorney Andy Howe will provide a current update on new and pending legislation.  He will also will provide tips on what the HR Professional should / should not do and how to handle potential situations in their work environment. 

    Case study will be presented and details on why the decisions was made by the courts. 

    Attendees of this presentation will ....

    1. Have a better understanding of new / pending legislation
    2. Learn Tips / Ideas of what they need to focus on (change) back at work.
    3. Address substantive law changes and case law changing law back in the workplace.

    Meeting Details

    • 7:00-7:30am - check-in and networking

    • 7:30-8:00am - breakfast, general meeting

    • 8:00-approx. 9:00am - presentation

    • Cost is $23 for members and $25 for guests.  Breakfast is included.

    • Check made payable to SHRM Berks Chapter is preferred but cash is also accepted.  Can pay at the meeting or mail check to PO Box 55, Temple PA 19560. Email Wendy Button for online credit card payment option.

    • Pre-registration of members and guests is required by emailing Wendy Button by midnight on September 5th

    • Cancelations of registrations must be received by midnight September 5th to avoid invoice for fee.

    • Members registering guests must be in attendance at meeting.

    • Berkshire Country Club is business casual dress code.  No jeans or shorts, please.
