Navigating the Future: Insights and Innovations in
Employee Benefits for 2025 & 2026
This presentation will discuss the "State of the Employee Benefits Market." We will be focusing on what Employers need to know right now their employee benefits offering, and what they need for the remainder of 2025 so they can plan for 2026 and beyond. We will be diving into healthcare costs including the changing pharmacy landscape, everyone’s favorite topic GLP1s and then will shift gears into AI as well as how you can bridge today’s multi-generational workforce through benefits and lastly, we’ll hit all things compliance and what you need to have on your radar for 2025. This presentation will provide valuable insights into emerging trends and expectations in the industry. There will be 4 main areas that we will discuss throughout the presentation:
- The rising cost of healthcare: Just like the rest of the world, everything is getting more expensive, including healthcare. This section will go over what we expect prices to be soon, why they are going up, and solutions that leaders can implement to help mitigate these costs. We also plan on going in depth about non-traditional health plans such as PEO and ICHRA that can generate employers cost savings.
- Rx reset: With Pharmacy driving more than 27% of overall healthcare costs, we plan to go into detail about ways employers are striving to drive down this cost. For example, we are seeing many employers going to market their Rx plan in 2025 to help bring down these costs.
- Keeping up with the AI revolution: AI is taking over the workplace and almost 50% of employers say their business won’t last past 2030 if they don’t start implementing it. This section will dive into the importance in AI and how HR leaders will play a pivotal role with the use of AI while maintaining the human touch.
- 4 generations in the workforce: What should companies expect from each generation in terms of benefit needs and what solutions can they offer their employees.
We will also share the recently released results of Mercer’s annual survey of Employer Sponsored Health Plans. an in-depth market survey conducted by our sister company, Mercer, which explores key challenges employers are facing, the desires of employees, and innovative solutions organizations are beginning to implement. This data will equip HR leaders with the information needed to navigate the evolving landscape of employee health and benefits.
