This presentation will discuss the growing trend of sextortion, particularly among youth and how it can lead to human trafficking. We will discuss how this occurs, prevention and what parents should be looking for to safeguard their children against these crimes.
Upon the conculsion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Identify potential signs of sextortion and human trafficking
- Understand the impact on our youth
- Take preventive measures
- Learn of resources to aide parents in awareness and combatfing sextortion and human trafficking
Speaker: Jeffrey Reichart, Director of Safe Schools, Governor Mifflin School District
Jeffrey is a retired Reading Police Detective assigned to violent crimes and is currently the Director of Safe Schools for the Governor Mifflin School District.
