Empower Employees to Retire Well
Financial planning is a broad topic, encompasses a variety of topics and applications can vary based on demographics and of course income differences. Finances can also be a sensitive topic, one that many will shy away from.
This presentation will serve two purposes:
- To illustrate where most 401k providers fall short in financial planning education,
- Target date funds disaster
- Calculating inflation adjusted retirement goals
- Having savings outside 401k, emergency funds, Rother IRA etc.
- When to use in service distributions
- To show examples of the type of education needed for employees
- Rule of 72, returns and asset classes
- Dollar cost averaging
- Financial independence number
Money is a source of stress for most families and at the very least a topic most would like to improve in. Not many advisers will take the time to educate clients and employees, but education is the starting point for Empowering Employees to Retire Well.
Speaker: Jon Conover, Primerica
