    Positioning for the Future: A Talent Acquisition Strategy

    This presentation outlines moving from a traditional recruitment model to a proactive, future-focused talent acquisition strategy designed to strengthen organizational capability and long-term workforce readiness.  It highlights the need to move beyond filling vacancies reactively and instead build a sustainable talent strategy that attracts engages, and retains high-quality candidates aligned with business goals.

    The strategy focuses on developing robust talent pipelines, expanding sourcing channels, and integrating workforce planning to anticipate future skills needs.  It emphasizes enhancing the candidate experience, leveraging technology and analytics to improve decision-making, and elevating our employer brand to compete effectively in a tightening talent market.

    By investing in a more strategic, relationship-driven approach, we are positioning the organization to secure top talent, reduce time-to-hire, and strengthen our culture through intentional hiring practices.  Ultimately, this forward-looking strategy ensures we have the people skills, and capabilities required to support the company’s growth and long-term success.

    Additionally, we will provide recommendations on utilizing AI to make better workforce planning decisions.

    Through an interactive approach, participants will be walked through a roadmap to move from current to future.  Participants will have opportunities to engage with those at their tables and create achievable steps to move forward.

    Kimberly Nash, MBA, SHRM-CP, SPHR, Manager-OD & Strategic HR, Cherry Bekaert

    For more than 35 years, Kim has been a trailblazer for the HR profession working as an HR leader and consultant for many organizations.

    Additionally, she mentors human resource professionals and has spent more than 25 years teaching SHRM HR Essentials and the SHRM Learning System through SHRM partners.

    Kim has had the opportunity to speak on leadership and human resource related topics at a variety of events locally and nationally.

    Jeremy Fick, Talent Consultant, Cherry Bekeart

    Jeremy is a Talent Consultant specializing in talent acquisition strategy and workforce optimization for growing organizatins.  He partners with leadership teams to improve hiring systems, candidate experience, and recruiting operations while helping organiztions rethink workforce design in an era shaped by automation, AI and evolving labor markets.

    •  Pre-registration required by emailing Wendy Button by midnight on Thursday, April 9th.  Payment instructions will be given upon registering.
    • The Chapter pays for the headcount given to BCC the Friday prior to a meeting.  Cancelations of prior registration must be received by midnight on Thursday, April 9th to avoid invoice for the meeting fee.
    • No refunds or credits will be issued for cancelations after midnight on Thursday, April 9th or no-shows.
    • Doors open at 7am for check-in and networking.  
    • Meeting begins at 7:30
    • Speaker begins at 8:00
    • Hot breakfast buffet is included
    • Photographs may be taken and used in Social Media and Marketing.  If you wish not to be photographed, please let us know during check-in
    • The Berkshire Country Club dress code business casual.
