How to Ace Pre- & Post-Employment Testing
In today’s world of ever-changing technology, HR professionals have a variety of tools at their disposal to ensure their hiring process is streamlined and geared toward selecting the best candidate for their team. This presentation is aimed at providing the attendee with an overview of the EEOC and ADA’s requirements for employee testing in order to reduce the risk of litigation while maximizing the benefits of available testing. This presentation will also provide and update as to developing case law with a particular focus on the Medical Marijuana Act and its impact on post-employment drug testing.
Speaker: Beth Ann Ebersole
Beth is an associate with Blakinger Thomas and practices in the firm’s Civil & Commercial Litigation, Municipal, and Employment Law groups.
Originally from Lancaster County, Beth served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard for ten years as a Logistics Readiness Officer. Prior to joining Blakinger Thomas, Beth was selected as a U.S. Department of Transportation Honors Attorney. She later spent several years as a non-profit attorney and outside labor and employment counsel to one of the nation’s largest privately-owned corporations.
Beth’s current practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on labor and employment law.
